Karthika's Dance Academy was founded by Karthika Chandrasekhar in 2019 at Colorado springs, Colorado. Currently she teaches Bharatanatyam, semi-classical and dances for community programs. Her passion for dance has started at the age of 4 and since then she has been learning classical dance under the guidance of Guru Ms.Omana and Guru Kalamandalam Premalatha. She has also performed various classical, semiclassical and cinematic dances at various stages and bagged many awards. She has learnt Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi for more than 25 years. Besides classical dance she has also performed folk dance, Thiruvathirakali and Margamkali on different platforms in and around Kerala.

Participated in Sargam Utsav Season-2 & Season-3 and selected as Top Ten contestants in Adult category(2022)
